retrieval done! Waiting for transfer!
Egg retrieval went as well as could be. Not exactly the most fun. But 10 eggs were retrieved and 7 fertilized. Waiting for 3 day transfer or 5 day!
How is everyone else doing?

I am not with dr. b I am with rsony. Love them!
This is my second retrieval since our first cycle was a BFN and we had nothing to freeze.
The retrieval is fine, the only thing that bothers me(because I am terrified of it) is the iv line in the hand. UGH!
But once that is done, and you get to the room, you're asleep so fast, you don't have time to think.
I woke up and waited for the embryologist to tell us our number of eggs retrieved and then about a half hour later my iv line was removed and I got dressed and went home.
I was only alittle sore, but was mostly so tired that I slept the whole day.
You will be fine and I'm sure a lot stronger than I was about the iv line.

I also went to RSofNY for my first try at IVF, they really are amazing, the entire staff. Best of luck to you, please keep us updated on you situation.

I go to RSNY - which dr did the retrival? I am starting the IVF process in a few days. So nervous!

Dr. Saketos did both of my retrievals. Trivax did my first transfer. I don't know who is on for saturday or monday. I like them all though, really.
I usually go the west islip office for b/w and sonos.
