Retirement Accounts
I feel stupid about these - I had a few jobs were I started accounts and left - do I just leave them the way they are or I am supposed to try and combine them with my current jobs? Thanks

Re: Retirement Accounts
I'm assuming you're talking about a 403b or 401k. We just rolled DH's into his new job's 403b. I've rolled mine over in the past. You can also roll them into a traditional IRA.

Re: Retirement Accounts
you should roll them over to your current one, or roll them into and IRA.

Re: Retirement Accounts
Well - it depends. I used to work at a financial services firm and they had excellent investment choices so i left all the money that i could in that account. As long as they are not charging you a fee to keep it there, there is no harm in leaving your money in multiple accounts. The only reason to combine is if it will make managing your money easier.

Re: Retirement Accounts
I tried to at an older job, but the paper work was ridiculous, so I just left it to accumulate.
