Hi all,

Those of you with old houses, have any of you ever had your old windows restored? If so, by whom and how much did it cost, if you don't mind my asking. Our house was built in 1905 and the paint on the window sashes and sills is peeling, some of the ropes are completely frayed, and many windows stick. We don't want to replace them because we want to keep the historical element, but I have no clue where to go to restore the windows. Can anyone recommend companies/people you've used?
