Repost- weekly meal traditions
So I am going to start making weekly menus so I can plan dinner accordingly and save money on eating out.
Is there any weekly "tradition" type meals you and DH have?
For example- every friday is pizza night?

Re: Repost- weekly meal traditions
I could definitely use help here.
So far, we have:
Burrito night Pizza (trying to make own using boboli or real dough) Stuffed Shells/Lasagna/Pasta Night Burgers/Grill Night (hard in apartment, but we find a way).

Re: Repost- weekly meal traditions
We have taco Tuesdays about every other week.

Re: Repost- weekly meal traditions
Monday is usually pasta (wither with garlic and oil or home-made marinara sauce and garlic bread)
Friday is usually pizza.
Saturday and Sunday we just throw whatever we want on the grill.
DH is gone most Tuesdays through Thursdays, so I'm on my own those nights.

Re: Repost- weekly meal traditions
For us Sunday is usually Pasta night. That's really the only day that we have a meal tradition. Taco Tuesdays is a cute idea though!

Re: Repost- weekly meal traditions
We eat pretty much the same things every week because we're both pretty picky eaters and DHs schedule changes week to week so sometimes he's home for dinner, other times he's not.
Mondays - Usually some type of pasta dish and garlic bread
Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Fridays - Some sort of chicken dish, burgers, tacos...
Thursdays - We're on our own due to schedules
Saturdays - Eat out
Sundays - Whatever works, but I don't usually cook unless it's fall/winter and I'm making sauce and meatballs
