Repost from Food: Please help with Menu that is 3 yr old friendly
I have a friend and her son (he's 3) coming over on Friday night. I have a 5month old and they are coming around dinner time (when things are a bit crazy in the house).
What can i make that is quick, easy but delish? Something a 3 yr old would eat too..I was thinking of putting somehting in the slow cooker, any ideas?

chicken fingers! appetizer hummus w/ crackers (my son loves it) mashed potatoes, baby carrots.. not a slow cooker person so cant help ya there except i recently had pulled pork that was slow cooked and son loved it

Not slow cooker, but what about mac n cheese? You can prep it all before hand and then pop it in the oven.
