Repeat C-sections and BFing...
Did anyone feel their BFing ability was affected because of a c-section?
This is one of my biggest fears with a repeat c-section for the twins. I don't have much of a choice. But I really want to be able to BF the twins and am afraid by not allowing my body to go into labor naturally I may affect my milk coming in.
WDYT?

No, not at all. I've had three c-sections--most recently in late October--and I have BF all three babies (and am still going with the little one) without issue.

I had no problems with supply in the beginning. 
ETA: I mostly pumped and supplemented with formula from day 1 so over time supply wasn't enough.. but had nothing to do with c-section.

Nope...my milk came in quicker and I have more this time than with the first c-section. I exclusively pumped with both, so i know I am def producing more this time. I also recovered quicker.

I've had 2 c-sections and no problem the 2nd time around. It took about the same time for my milk to come in (about 2.5 days) and seems like I have more the 2nd time around. You'll be okay!!

I had a section at 430 am on a Saturday morning (planned BUT 12 days before my scheduled date)- I was not in labor but my BP spiked and I became pre-eclampsic. My milk was in I can't remember either by that night or Sunday morning. It was definitely within about 24 hour though. I was really surprised.

I was scheduled with #1. Never had a contraction at all, never labored and my milk came in fine! I BF for a month but that was only because DS ate constantly!!! I just couldnt take it!

Yes. I had a problem with my milk coming in and the Ped chalked it up to having a "traumatic labor/c-section" <my water broke but I never went into labor so my birthing experience took 36 hours>. My supply has never been good and I've always had to supplement...

I had a C with my first and I am scheduled for one with my second too. I had no problem with my milk coming in and DD latched perfectly.

I had 2 c/s's(labor with the 1st) and BFing was waaay easier the second time. Milk came in on day 4 both times. I just had more milk the second time and it was not painful at all.
