Repeat C-Section
Not pregnant but crashing with a question!
If you are pregnant with #2 - when did your doctor schedule your c-section for? My friend is saying they will schedule you to deliver a week or more before your due date? Just wondering if this is true or not.

I am 30w and my OB said we can schedule it only as early as 33w. He did give me a tentative date though. They will do C's at 38w4d and later.

Im goiong to be a repeat c section. My due date is February 20th. My doctor tentatively has me scheduled for the 13th.

My Dr said they can not schedule a c-section any earlier then 39 weeks, unless you go into labor on your own, or have a medical reason.

I am due on March 23rd and the doctor wants to do the c-section around the 19th or the 20th. He said we'll talk more when we get closer to the date. Right now I am only 23+ weeks.

My dr. said a week before my due date unless there's any complications then maybe 2 weeks before.

I had to (and will have to, this time) go at 38w and not a day later but that is due to a prior classical cesarean.
The 'standard' is 39w (before 39w most hospitals will require an amnio to confirm lung maturation).

My ob schedules a repeat csec at 39 weeks. I went 2 weeks early with dd and I'm hoping to do it again, so maybe I'll go before my scheduled date!

My Ob scheduled me for 1 week prior to my EDD< thats the earliest they will do it (at my office) unless there are other issues.
I got my actual date at 30 or 32 weeks

I was just scheduled and I'm 38 weeks. My hospital won't do anything until you're 39 weeks. It probably depends on your doc , hospital and circumstances.
