repairing a scratch on wood floors
We were setting our tables up for Thanksgiving and putting all the extra folding chairs neeeded around and my floor now has two long scratches in it. There mush have been something on the bottom of the chair leg. Any ideas how to repair the scratch? I'm so annoyed right now!!! i though we were being productive by getting some things ready b/c DH is working the next 2 nights, but I guess not...HELP!!!

They make these wood markers you can try...just have to match it to your floor...we did this and it's not too bad...sorry it happened and gl! Happy thanksgiving!

Thanks! Happy Turkey Day to you too! I actually saw some old posts that recommended a walnut and for now it worked. Problem is my floors are dark, so you see EVERY scratch. I know it will be more often when we have the baby, but I'll just stock up on walnuts, LOL!!

I bought them too when I read that post a few weeks ago (just in case). Also, they have those felt circles that you put under chairs/furniture to prevent the scratching. We have them but sometimes there is always one that falls off......... But they help alot in preventing any scratches.
