renting a car...
i was just looking to get an idea of cars to rent when we go to disney...we want a suv preferably. its around 450 for a week i checked alamo, dollar, hertz, enterprise. anything else you reccomend? is there someway to get them cheaper?

and since you are going to WDW, try http://www.mousesavers.com/rentalcar.html

Check AAA
Sign up for the car rental company customer program - that sometimes helps.
If you have a BJs membership - they have good discounts.
You could also try priceline - just make sure you specify an airport counter and not one nearby.
Also, keep checking the prices. They sometimes go down as your rental date approaches.

I found that Dollar has reasonable prices in Orlando and they are located on-airport (as opposed to Enterprise).
I booked my car through them through either BJs or Costco.

Definitely go with BJs and keep checking the price. I got our car rental when we went to Disney for $80 through BJs. It was a little higher, but I checked it a couple of days before leaving and the price dropped, so I cancelled our original reservation and rebooked at the cheaper rate. Have fun!

The last two trips we booked through hotwire.com for the best rate. And I am a serious researcher! lol! I compared Costco, expedia, direct from the rental companies, etc...
