Remember those pictures
found at mall kiosks in a i think the 90's that would change images when you stared at them? WTH were they called?
apparently due to the fact that i have no depth perception, i was unable to see what everyone else was able to see. anyone else not able to see these changing images?

I think I always called them 3D pictures but I don't think that's the real name.The trick is to learn how to focus your eyes. Hold your finger about 12 inches away from your face and stare at your finger. Now hold up your finger and stare at the background so that your finger now appears double and blurry. That's how you should look at the pics. After a few seconds the image should pop. I remember there was a joke one that had no image in it and some people would say, "I see it!"

I was never able to see them either.
I always felt like an idiot standing in the mall while everyone else was oohing and aahing at the hidden pictures.

yes, magic eye. nope, i stood and stared for half an hour one day and NOTHING. definitely a depth perception issue.

I could always see them.
It came from years of practice where I would look like I was reading a book but I really did what I called "blurred" my eyes (focused on a point between the book and my eyes instead of the book itself).

that is the EXACT one i chose too and all i saw was a little dog in the lower right corner. more like a shadow than an image.

Nope it's a big dog in the middle. Shape of a Boxer/Great Dane
For some reason I can see them very quickly

I clicked on the one that is a dog and you will see a dog in the middle. I also did hte pumpkin one and you will see a pumpkin in the middde. I can usually focus on them pretty quickly. It is almost like you have to go cross eye and then focus.
