Remember me?
I'm back from my vacation!! 
I didn't make some goodbye announcement before I left, because I was on somewhat of an LIF hiatus before then anyway......
Anyway, HUGE vacation rave!! My dh and I went on a cruise to Bermuda. It was AMAZING!! We literally planned the trip two weeks before the ship sailed. We were planning on going away somewhere (umm .. somewhere like Boston  ) but I was getting so overwhelmed with the infertility business that I told my dh I wanted to go FAR .. and we did 
Before we left, I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to escape infertility conversations. I thought it would be on my mind constantly the way it was at home, and that even a vacation couldn't "cure" me. It truly is amazing what getting away for week can do. I hardly talked about it because for the first time in as long as I could remember .. it wasn't he first thing on my mind. In fact, this was one week where I was actually GLAD to not be pregnant. I went on a cruise last year at 12wks pregnant and didn't enjoy it nearly as much. Last time, I couldn't go in hot tubs.. have any drink I wanted.. I was on pelvic rest which meant no  ........... This time I was able to just be carefree and enjoy life (umm .. that is until I got a phone call from Batzofin's office about some billing issues from my IVF cycle back in March  ..)
I spent the week enjoying time with my dh...... laying on the beach in perfect weather.... and we even saw someone get engaged on the boat!!  
Before this vacation, I really was just about ready to lose it. I truly hope that the effects of this vacation carry me through my next cycle..... and especially hope that my next big vacation is a babymoon

Welcome back! I am so glad to hear you had a good time! I've been telling hubby that we need to do this since we started lol. It's so nice to hear that you kind of got your mind off of it for a little while.

Good for you. I always found it helpful to get away from everything. A few years ago DH and I went to Hawaii for our 5 year anniversary and it was the best time we ever had, no talk of babies, doctors visits, just sitting on the beach with our Mai Tai's and actually enjoying each other.

Thanks everyone!!! Although... what I was most afraid of seems to be happening... The effects of my vacation are slowly wearing off and I'm getting totally anxious about all the infertility garbage  I'm trying to envision myself back on a beach.......... I think what I could really use now is the chocolate buffet.  
I think our next gtg should be on a cruise ship! I wanna go baaaaack!!!
