Remember last year...
When our biggest problem was the color of Starbucks' holiday cup and not impending doom? Ahhh the good old days! 
was that last year or the year before actually? I forget.

Because forcing people to say and respond to something that they don't believe in reinforces that the majority is in charge. Of everyone. All the time.
And acknowledging that everyone may not believe in or celebrate the same thing...cedes ground and shows weakness. right?

OMG, if it's Dec. 24 or 25th, it's Christmas! You can say Merry Christmas!!! Guess what on November 24th I am saying Happy Thanksgiving and i will be you a dollar so are you. Why? Because 11/24 is Thanksgiving! I'm sure there are many people who do not celebrate Thanksgiving...in fact I know there are people on this board who don't. It's ok to offend them though ?If you do not celebrate it, say thank you and move on. i have been wished Happy Hanukkah and you know what my response is????Thank you, same to you. Really not hard.

I say Merry Christmas...to people who I know celebrate. Every year. Not just on Christmas.
I also wish a happy Thanksgiving...to Americans---not all Americans are Christians, and what's not hard...is respecting that.

It was green for a week or so before the election- it was a "unity" cup or something. It had a bunch of people drawn on it- like stick figures- all holding hands in unity I guess?
Either way, judging by past week, it didn't really work I'd say. Sorry Starbucks!
The red ones are back as of last week I think for the holiday season
Personally I don't care if it's purple with pink stripes- I just want my Latte!
