Re: registrys

I started mine earlier than 20 weeks & I found it gave me alot of time to revise & alter it online.

Everyone is different though. We had our crib ordered at 12 weeks, so we had a really good idea of what the nursery was going to look like as far as style.

Re: registrys

I started mine at 14 weeks, finished it after my Level II.

I'm glad i started early, it was exhausting and I did lots of research.

Re: registrys

We waited until around week 30. I'm weird though. I didn't really want a shower and the thought of registering has always made me feel strange, but my friends literally dragged me to BRU.

OMG I feel the same way...I really don't want to register but my husband thinks I'm a crazy lunatic and is making meChat Icon ...I think Im just going to register for a few big items and thats it. And oh I probably won't start until I know what we're having.

Re: registrys

I started at 10-12 wks but more as a "list".

Almost all of the original items on it have been changed but it was a good start so I had a starting base that I modified as time went one.

Re: registrys

I plan on starting early and doing a little at a time so its not so overwhelming.

I already have that list in my head and on paper. Some of the more gender specific stuff obviously will have to wait but I am so ready!

Re: registrys

I started around 13 weeks - but we only did a few things at a time - after we researched and read up on them on Baby Bargains. I didn't finish my registry until about 23 weeks. I think they encourage you to hold off as some things can be discontinued but if you monitor your registry you can simply make that change when it happens.

I liked working on it over time - I found that it takes a while to do unless you just go scan crazy and that it was more enjoyable to do a little bit at a time rather than spending hours at once.
