registry question
how many places did you register? is it easier for your guests if you just register at one place? did you avoid BBB or BRU or any other store in particular?

Re: registry question
I only have one registry, at BBB (b/c I loathe BRU and their return policy)
I know it's not as convenient as BRU, but I gfigure those who are going to buy off of the registry will do it regardless, and those who won't the same ........- There's only one Fortunoff on LI and a zillion brides register there - KWIM?

Re: registry question
i have both BRU and BBB....there were some things at BBB that i wasn't willing to sacrifice and BRU didn't have them.
if you do have more than one registry - make sure you comparison shop. I have compared my registries a few times to make sure i have the cheaper site selected..
example: my pack n play is 20 dollars less at BRU, but the sheets are cheaper at BBB, so i split it up to save people (or US after the fact) money.

Re: registry question
Both BBB and BRU... my family are friends are in NJ and there's no BBB, but we do like some more things at BBB so the majority of my stuff will be on the BBB registry. Of course I know people can always order off the site, but since we're not having a shower I'm going to need stuff the sooner the better.

Re: registry question
I registered at BBB and BRU. BRU did not have some high end items that I wanted in stores and my guests would have to order them online and pay another $50 which I thought wasn't worth it. Plus at BBB you can use teh Bed Bath and Beyond coupons so it was better for the high end items. I have found though that some items at BRU then BBB but if you use the coupon they are the same price (interesting).
I also registered at amazon for my bedding because I didn't like what either BRU or BBB had and also added some books to the amazon registry. I was trying to limit it to the 2 but it just dind't work out.

Re: registry question
i have BBB and BRU. i like BBB as a store better overall (they have great customer service, etc.) but BRU had some things that BBB didn't have and vice versa.

Re: registry question
I like BBB much better but only registered at BRU because they have more locations. I didn't want to deal with monitoring 2 registries and 95% of the merchandise is the same.
