Re: Registry question

I get like this too. But if people don't want to spend it on you, they won't. So I would pick what you really like for the baby.

Re: Registry question

I wouldn't stress too much about it! Usually a few people will go in together for the big items. Everyone knows you need a stroller, for example, it's not like you are putting $$$ items on there that aren't necessary.

i agree....and even if you put down things that you like that might cost a lot, if they are not bought for you, you just buy them yourself..
We were very fortunate and got almost all the big items off our registry, but i figured if things werent bought, i can just look back to the registry as a shopping list.

And I know with BRU, if it's on your registry and not purchased, you get a discount after the due date...so if people don't want to purchase it for you, they won't. But at least you'll be able to purchase it later with a discount!

Re: Registry question

I think about that too, but after spending so much on everyone else my whole life, I am listing it all. I didn't have a wedding shower, so I am cashing in now Chat Icon

Actually, I am probably going to borrow quite a bit from a friend who recently had a baby, so I think my list will be really pricey things or really cheap things. I figure whatever I get, I get and I'll be happy with anything people want to buy. also- people sometimes chip in together to buy the more expensive stuff.
