Registry help

Is this overkill???

I registered for the cradle swing, travel swing, papasan seat and bouncy seat....are these all too similar?

Re: Registry help

IMHO, I think that a bouncy seat (or infant-to-toddler rocker) and a swing are exactly perfect. I never had a papasan and felt I never needed it. As for a swing, I only had the travel version and it was just fine. HTH.Chat Icon

Re: Registry help

Thanks Jen! You are always coming to the rescue! I may just leave them on and see what I get, I can always return later...Dh just pointed out that everything on the registry looked "the same".Chat Icon

Re: Registry help

I have the papasan swing and I don't think I could live without it. It rocks Lily to sleep every night and she loves sitting in it during the day.
I also think it's especially good for newborns because it cradles them when they're so little, so they don't have to support themselves at all.

I'd keep it all on the registry and see what you get - you can always return what you don't need!

They are similar, but you don't know what the baby will like.

Also, if you think you have people who will buy them all, then go for it. I thought I didn't and people complained that there weren't enough "big" items.

Re: Registry help

I don't think it could hurt to have all of them on your registy since you won't know what ones your DC will be happy in. Also, what if one gets bought while another doesn't - you could always exchange or return for the one you really want

Oh I know, and I love all the items. Tom just made me rethink it at the store last night. He said "why do all these things look the same"...Chat Icon
