registry at 1 place
do you think its okay if I register at just one place? I went to Buy Buy Baby yesterday, and they pretty much had everything I needed, and so I registered there, but not sure if I should register for some things else where just in case (although, not sure what else I would register for!) what are your thoughts?

Re: registry at 1 place
I registered at only 1 but it was BRU. My prob with BBB is the lack of locations otherwise they have it all and the 20% cOupons are def a bonus. I would register with bru as well if I were you.

Re: registry at 1 place
I dont think its a bad thing if they have everything you want.
I think you just need to think do you have a lot of people who can get to a Buy Buy Buy Baby? Do people know they can order online? Do you have a lot of older people buying presents who cant order online and maybe Buy Buy Baby is not close to them? Just think about your personal situation and if it works to just keep it at BBB then no biggie. I heard a lot of girls on here only registering at one.
I registered at BBB and BRU because I found BBB actually didnt have a few things that I wanted and BRU did. Plus a few of the older women in my family never heard of BBB (LOL), its nowhere near them and they dont know anything about computers or the internet LOL So for me it worked to do 2. In my circle of friends its customary to register at 2.

Re: registry at 1 place
I did just BBB and love it. I didn't seem to have any luck with the people at BRU and didn't like their return policy as explained by the registry desk.
There was one or two people who wanted bigger items that ordered online anyway. The people who really wanted to go in store and get washcloths, onsies, etc. (which I didn't register for anyway) went to a local BRU.

Re: registry at 1 place
Im on the fence too, so I am doing both. Mainly because the lack of locations for BBB. But I love the use of the coupons there and they have some different patterns that I like that BRU doesnt have. Either way people will get you want you need, they can always order online !
ETA: I always go to the Garden City BBB, but yesterday I went to the Huntington store to see if they had anything different. I have to say that the Huntington store had some stuff that I was looking for that Garden City did not have. They also have a second floor that is dedicated to only furniture! I was pretty impressed lol. I will def be going back !

Re: registry at 1 place
If you're choosing between bbb and bru, I definitely think bbb is the way to go. They are amazingly better with returns/exchanges.
I'd suggest registering either on amazon.com or target too, just so some people have some options. There are no bbbs in a lot of the country and you just never know who is going to want to send you a present. Plus Target is amazingly convenient for people since they go there anyway for their own shopping.
Just a suggesstion.

Re: registry at 1 place
I'm registered at BBB & BRU and so far everything has come off the BBB registry and nothing has come off BRU. These days people can order online, so I don't think its that big of an issue!
