Where did you register for your baby? What did you like/dislike? What are some must haves?

I registered at Buy Buy Baby as well. Their return policy is better and I liked that they had some different options than BRU.
Must haves for me: Video Monitor Travel System Pack n Play diaper pail changing pad receiving blankets

Re: Registry
Ask100 parents, you will get 100 different answers.
We registered for too much. We ended up using:
Stroller (something not $$$$, you only use for a few years if so)
Car seats (this is gold: love mine & you need infant, convertible & eventually a booster/harness type)
Crib (no kidding! But do yourself a favor & don't think of this as forever furniture... Best to get your bedroom set when kid is bigger)
Pack & play (we use it as a napping & changing area)
Jumper (love this)
Baby swing (the one that is cheap & plugs into wall)
Diaper pail (mine doesn't stink)
That's it. So no: receiving blankets, burp cloths, monitors (I can hear my baby very well), other random stuff

And i have to respectfully disagree with the above poster who says no burp cloths or monitors... Yes i can hear my baby but i want to see her because im not going in her room for every noise she makes. And as a 1st time mom you want to lol and even now my dd is 3.5 shes in a big girl bed and i still use my monitor. I like to see her to know shes ok..
Burp cloths i cant tell you how many of those i went through. They saved most of my shirts. Bibs too i must have had 100s but my fave was carters Especially when they really start to drool. Omg i would go through maybe 12-15 a day. They would get soaked. Carters was the only 1 that wouldnt soak her shirts. All of the above from the other posters. Bath tub but you dont need all the bells and whistles basic tub is perfect
Car seats Stroller have to agree the fance schmacy $$$$ arent worth it. Snap n go does the same trick. I would advise to register for an umbrella stroller too. Personally i loved my uppababy g luxe
Dont go nuts o.n clothes cause people are going to buy it anyway.
