Registry

Are you supposed to register for clothes? If so, what kind and how many??

I was told by many people not to since people will buy them anyway. I was told to just put onesies and other essentials like that. The lady at BRU also told me not to do clothes since their inventory changes so frequently that in a month the things you registered for could no longer be in stock, she said onesies are fine though.

I did the plain ones and a couple other packs that seemed pretty standard but were for a girl. If they go out of stock before someone buys them I wont be upset. GL w/your registry!

I started off registering for clothes at BRU but when I checked through the registry online after I registered, there were no pictures of the clothes items, just a description, a very, very vague description like BROWN SHOE or they would shorten it to fit and it'd say something like BRO SH. I couldn't even understand what some of the stuff was and I picked it out LOL. We took it all off, figuring that if people were buying in the store then they would have no clue what they were reading and wouldn't know what to get without serious help from the staff.

Even without registering, we ended up with a TON of clothes at the shower, at the hospital, and for a few days after the baby arrived from visitors. I kept most a just returned the ones I didn't like or need to various stores for a store credit if they didn't give a receipt. It did kind of stink getting clothes because if they did have to go back...like I got a TON of onesies, I ended up returning a lot but still own more than DS ever wore, if there was no gift receipt it was hard to tell where to return it to. Different stores sell different brands. I ended up typing the skew number on some of the tags on Google and it told me where it was from!
