Registries

I am going to do two registries....one is definitely BRU. The other is a toss up between Target and BBB. Target is easily accessible for a lot of my guests but I heard their return policy kind of sucks. BBB has the nicer patterns I am looking for but there are not many around. Which one would you choose? TIA!

Re: Registries

Well, if it is mainly people on LI, then I would do BBB, but if you are registering at someplace for people all over to buy stuff, I'd do Target.

That being said, I'd only do BRU. Or BBB. Target does have a crappy return policy. My friend registered at both Target and BRU and got such a mishmosh of stuff people went only to one store and didn't know what was on the other registry, so she got duplicates b/c people thought she missed something when it was really on the other registry.

I only did BRU and that was fine.

Re: Registries

I had never even heard of BBB until I moved to Long Island. So, if you have a lot of OOT guests, I'd go for Target. If you don't, then go with the gifts you want to get!

Re: Registries

I only did 1. I registered at BRU...people ended up getting stuff at different stores anyway, but I felt it was much more manageable at one store. BRU had everything I needed...are you looking at certain things that aren't available at BRU??

Re: Registries

Target's god-awful return policy would be reason enough to stay away, IMO.

I only did 1 registery also - for the same reason other people posted. With the stores getting so much stricter about returns, I really didn't want to deal with the hassle of 2 places.

Re: Registries

I would definitely do BBB, they have more to choose from and your guests could order online if they are not near a store.
