Registery Items- HELP!
Hi All,
This may have been done before, but could some of you please share what you registered for? I have registered for all the big things like the carseat, stroller, pack and play, high chair, etc. I am more concerned about the little things like bottles, pacifiers, health items, etc. that I am just not thinking of.
Also BTDT Moms... anything you would recommend?
My shower invites are out, so I want to add things if needed soon!
TIA!

Re: Registery Items- HELP!
bijorn or other carrier baby medical kit - ie. baby nail clippers, hair brush baby shampoo kit toddler sized towels bath tub bath tub sponge (teddy bear or frog) kneeling pad for bath tub cloth gerber diapers - to be used as burp cloths - they are the softest and most absorbent unbreakable mirror for crib tiny love light and sound mobile lamaze firefly toy humidifier basket to store diapers and wipes on changing table sleep sacks bottles extra car seat base
eta: dish washer basket - much more useful than a steralizer changing pad cover PNP sheets bottle cleaning brush thermometer baby monitor (video)
something I would love but never got was one of those ear or forehead thermometers. I had a passifer one and that worked well too.
something that I would get but not sure where to register for it b/c my mom special ordered them from the drug store but a huge box of disposable chuck pads to put under the crib sheet and on top of the changing table. Those are fantastic.

Re: Registery Items- HELP!
I feel like there are so many little things that I couldnt' list them all here...just don't forget to get things like spoons, bowls, sippigrips or no-throw tethers, straw cups (or sippy if you are into that), something to use after the infant tub, etc. those things you need before you know it! when i was registering i found some old posts on here through a search that were very helpful!

Re: Registery Items- HELP!
diaper sack dispenser- it clips onto diaper bag- holding scented bags- great when your taking baby to family/friends houses...
grooming kit-
extra pacifiers- the hospital uses the soothie ones- hospital will send you home with ones baby used- but its amazing how they drop out of babies mouth and need to keep in diaper bag too- i have 8 total
extra nasal bulb - boogie sucker- hospital will give you one- should keep one in diaper bag too..
thermometer- when they are a baby rectal is suppose to be the most accurate- i picked the Vics one- plus a vics under the arm one- so that we didnt have to subject him to it all the time...
Gerber 6-Pack Premium 6-Ply Cloth Diaper - Prefold - these are what the hospital uses as burp cloths... its a rectangle... our lamaze teacher also recommended this- they look much better/softer after the first wash
wipes- hospital will send you home with some starter diapers- but not wipes...
Infant Carrier Netting - great in the summer to keep baby away- and will keep kids from running up and sticking their hands into baby...
Stroll'r Swivel'rs - for back of stroller to hold bags you purchase
Hooded Towels- go for the Carters ones= they are thicker- will last you longer- same with the washcloths
