For me personally the white onesies were a waste! DD was born Mother's day and it's not like I was layering clothing in the summer months....Also I got a TON of sleep and plays in NB sizes and really only used them for PJ's. I've been dressing her in "outfits" since day one.
Secondly register for the small things that you think you won't need alot of like bibs, binkies, binkie clips, SOCKS!, washcloths..they aren't very expensive but it all adds up!! HTH
