Registered Michael for preschool today
 I'm already a mess! Just taking a tour of the place and thinking of my baby being there made me emotional.
He starts September 5th and I know he will love it. Me on the otherhand??? I will be a complete wreck. I already asked DH to consider taking that day off because I'm going to need support.
My friend said she wouldn't be surprised if I have a nervous breakdown when I take him shopping for school supplies (come to think of it I wouldn't be surprised either).
He is only going for 3 half days a week and I'm this messed up! Thank goodness he isn't going for 5 whole days I'd hate to think of how I'd feel then.
Geez I must really have alot of hormones from DS #2 left.

I was the same way when my son started Nursery. Then I was a little better the next year when he started Pre-K. Now, in a few short weeks, he's starting full-day Kindergarten. The first day of dropping him off, I am always a mess...he is absolutely fine and tells me that I can go home!    But after you see that your child enjoys going to school, making friends, and loves to learn new things...you start to feel better.
