Reflux/Alimentum Babies
DS is 2 months. He was switched to Alimentum and Zantac at 3 weeks. Things were better for a while. But he still seems really gassy and kicking a lot. And now he doesn't always finish his bottles. He will chug the first few ounces, burp, but then won't latch on for the rest. He just plays with the nipple or straight up pushes it away.
And sleeping through the night is a far fetched dream. But I noticed he is most fussy and kicking and grunting from like 530-7.
They tested his stool again after on the Alimentum for a bit and it was negative. Do you think I should test it again? Do you think this is something he's just going to outgrow?
And more importantly when will he sleep??? I know you don't know the answer but I'm going nuts here lol

Re: Reflux/Alimentum Babies
It's possible he needs an increase in dose. He should be going to the dr regularly to be weighed and have his dosage adjusted when needed.
As for STTN, 2 months is still young and it can happen very suddenly. DS went from waking up every 3 hours to sleeping 8 hour stretches in a matter of 2-3 weeks. He started STTN at 10/11ish weeks but wasn't always consistent. DD is now 9 weeks old and has been giving me consistent 5 hour stretches basically since we brought her home. I'm hoping she'll STTN soon, but you just never know. It's a developmental milestone and every baby will hit it at a different time. Hang in there, your baby WILL sleep eventually.

Reflux/Alimentum Babies
My dd had her dose upped from time to time as she grew. She started to sttn around 2.5-3 months. She was an alimentum/zantac baby. Does he sleep flat? My dd slept in the rock n play because it was angled. She couldnt sleep flat at all. After feeding she would be kept upright for 20 min then i would out her down. In the rock n play always. Never flat.

How long did you keep her in the rock and play for? He was in it but I moved him to the crib. He wakes up regardless. He started to seem uncomfortable all scrunched up in the rock and play. He's already 13 lbs
