Refinishing a light fixture
Is it possible to refinish a light fixture? We selected a beautiful fixture for our dining room and entry way but I don't love the finish. Has anyone every repainted a light fixure? Is it easy to paint?

I am clueless to home items terminology...but you mean the base that hangs from the ceiling? I painted mine this week. I had an old ugly one with olf paint faded off and paint from when the ceiling was painted etc. so I painted it with gold acrylic paint and it looks great!

Actually I'm looking to paint the whole thing. The base taht sits on the ceiling and the actual fixture with the lights on it. The one we have has this gold crackle finish and it almost looks leopard. The fixture itself is gorgeous!
