Redid our outside
The side of our house and some of our backyard was very overgrown. We hired someone to help us get it back to semi normal. We just have to clear the leaves now...
Here's the before :
And the after :
We also took out many bushes from the front of our home and replaced...
Before :
And after pre mulch:

Beth I love it all.  you have so much more of a backyard now. Looks great. And I love your front yard, what a great improvement. What bushes did you decide to go with in the front? Very very nice.

We went with a kosteri blue spruce and cypresses... Now the one that is to the right of the door is a cypress but a different style and of course I forgot the name. LOL. But I love it. This weekend we will mulch.
I am tossing up whether or not to have the guy come back to clear the leaves. We would do them ourselves, but there is some poison ivy in the mix and I do not want me or DH to get it... not sure what to do. The price he gave was very very fair... Ah decisions..

Love your choices for plants. I have both and we love them. Once the mulch gets done you will love it even more.
I wouldn't screw around with poison ivy. A friend of mine has gotten it many times in his own garden. You might want them to pull out the poison ivy and spray it also. And have them do the leaves. If the price was that fair, I would go for it.

I know ! When some of my family saw it at first they thought it looked naked. I think it looks clean =). We love it !
