Red Wine stains?

Has anyone successfully removed a red wine stain from clothing? If so, how?

Dry cleaner couldn't do it. Does that mean I'm hopeless??

Re: Red Wine stains?

Is it a washable garment?
DH spilled an ENTIRE glass of red wine all over a brand new dress one night -
I washed it, soaked it, (on gentle) to no avail -

My Mom got it ALL out w/ Oxyclean.

ETA: Even if it's not technically supposed to be washed - it's worth a try, even by hand. If the dry cleaner can't do anything about it, it's garbage anyway .......KWIM?

Its a dress that can be machine washed, but I typically dry clean it to keep it nice. I'll be on the lookout for both of these products!!

Goop gets out anything on clothing.
My BF spilled red wine on a white wrap of mine. Dry cleaner couldn't get it out & I tried Goop. Came right out.

Wine away really works wonders. I got red wine on a white skirt and this got it out with a few sprays.

Re: Red Wine stains?

This stuff is amazing. I spilled red wine all over my dress at my husband's Christmas party and this took every bit out of it out. My friend works for a wine importer and she recommended it -- they use it where she works. I bought it at Bed, Bath & Beyond.
