You should post where you are located so that people can see if they can help you. It should not be a big job.
First, has the leak been fixed? That's the most important item.
Second, to save some money and time, you might be able to do some of the work yourself. I did that this fall at my mother's under a window that had leaked. I cut out and removed the damaged 2'x2' piece of wallboard using a box cutter and some other tools I had, and took out all the the wet insulation. The space needed about a week to dry completely before I filled it with new insulation. Reinsulating was very easy - just wear a mask and cover yourself with a disposable painters suit ($10) or old clothes that you can toss if you don't want to itch.
When it was ready, I had a handyman/carpenter come who installed a piece of new sheetrock cut to size over it, and spackled and taped it. It needed two more coats of spackle over the first to be properly spackled, and needs to be sanded when dry, so three visits are necessary. Two will be very short ones just to spackle. I repainted the wall myself when the patch was finished.
