Recommend your winter coat.

We have infants and a 4yo. While I was loving the Nort Face for my older one, last year the piling and overallairy were not like the ones I had ordered. Now with 3 needing new winter car seat coats and budget and quality are a concern, I am looking for suggestions. What is a good car seat coat for those ages- that will last me through winter.

Thanks!

Re: Recommend your winter coat.

I had a North Face jacket last year.
It was great... except for the shedding factor.
This year, I got some adorable thin coats from Costco. They are Snozu and adorable. I think they will be good car seat coats (but my kids are older). I'm using their ski jackets as coats for very cold weather (they still fit).
At $25 each... they are worth checking out (and come with a hood and hat).

I just read you have infants. Try a second hand store for coats.... or even Marshalls.

When they were infants I always used the Carter's sherpa jacket. It's like a thick fleece but I felt it was thin enough for the carseat. Then I just threw a blanket over their legs in the infant seat. It was good enough for ruining to and from the car.
Once they got older I started buying the osh kosh 4 in 1. They are heavy when both pieces are used so they're good for snow, walking them to school in winter, and lasted me multiple years in perfect shape. For the car I just slip the outer layer off once they're in the car and strap them in with the just the fleece. My girls live in those fleeces all fall and spring too and they've help up perfectly.
