Recommend your pediatrician - Commack/E.Northport

Ladies can you recommend your pediatrician if they are in the Commack/E.Northport area? Thanks

And also a few questions -

What do you love about them?
Do they have good hours?
Is it easy to get appointments there for sick or well visits?
Do they have "sick" and "well" waiting rooms?

Non-preggo crashing to answer....

I recommend Dr Gunduz & Moerck. they are now on Larkfield Road in E. Northport.

Dr. Gunduz was my ped when I was a kid, and she is AWESOME!!! I used her for my son until we moved to the South Shore.

I can't say enough great things about them as doctors. I haven't been there for a few years, and not in the new locations, so I don't feel qualified to say anything about the office or anything like that, since I don't know.

We use Gunduz/Moerk/Gabrielli also.
I do love them all individually, very different personalities, but all great.

One negative, unless you have the first appointment of the day, you are going to wait. If you get a late afternoon appointment, I've been there as long as an hour waiting.

They do have Saturday appointments, but no late evenings. I think the last appointment of the day is 430P.

Gabrielli is also out on maternity leave, so it may be harder to get an appt.

But all in all, we are very happy w/ the practice.

We use Commack pediatric associates. In fact, we still travel from port jeff to see dr Svitek. I love him because he's thorough but not an alarmist, listens to all my (many) concerns, and has such a gentle way about him.
They do have separate sick and well waiting rooms and will bring newborns in first thing in the am.

We just started using Smithtown Pediatrics (we live in Commack it's about a 10 minute drive right up Jericho Tnpk). We have a newborn. So far we really like them. They do have sick and well waiting rooms. We have always been right in and out (been there 2x so far). They have a bunch of MDs we were just kind of assigned to one and we like him so far.

We called the service last night to ask a question about her umbilical stump and they called right back and then placed a follow up call to us this AM.
