Recommend your convertable car seat

We need 2 and they are probably not going to be the same. I'm leaning towards the Britax Marathon for my car. Rave/reviews?

For DH's car we need a smaller seat because his car is too small for the Britax. Any suggestions?

We have Britax Marathon's in both cars and we love them and DS loves them. They are easy to install and DS loves being able to look out the window. He is very comfortable in this seat.

We have the graco myride 65 and its a nice size carseat not to big. DD loves sitting in it. It has cupholds to which I love. Like I've said my dd loves that she can see out the windows too. Its pretty inexpensive to I paid 140$ for it at BRU. I used a 20% off coupon.

Re: Recommend your convertable car seat

I got the First Years True Fit. Very affordable (I guess about $150-60 on amazon), very highly rated and what I love about it is, I'll never have to rethread the straps when she gets taller. It has a really great mechanism to help you readjust the straps. Great seat!

Oh and it fits most cars too....

ETA: for our second, smaller car we got the Graco ComfortSport but haven't installed it yet....got it based on recommendations from the ladies here!

I saw this at BRU today and was considering this one over the marathon for my car. How do you like it?

we just bought this today from BRU bc it was on a good sale, had great reviews and i had 20% coupon. It seems very comfy and i'll probably bring it over to our township for it to be installed like they installed our infant seat. although it doesnt seem to complicated to install.

Re: Recommend your convertable car seat

I had the Britax Roundabout in my car until DS out grew it.

I have also used my friends My Ride 65 and that fit in well and seemed like a good seat as well

PS I have an 02 Jetta so if it fits in my car it will fit in just about any car!Chat Icon
