Besides the newspaper's listing of recent home sales, is there a way to look up what a house sold for?

Thanks! After posting I did some digging on Newsday's site and they have a feature to look up past sales. You need to have the Street name.

We had our realtor friend do it. He gave us the side-by-side comparison based on an address. You could pick any old address in any part of towns you're looking for, as long as the beds/baths etc. are similar to what you're looking for.
