Rec. your digital camcorder
I want to buy DH a new camcorder for his b-day but I have no clue what to get. We now have an old one that takes those little tapes. I want something modern as we do use it a lot with the kids.
Please tell me the likes/dislikes your camcorder. Also where did you get it from? Links would be helpful too.

Hey Deb, I forgot to mention that I also have a camcorder (newer than the dvd one) that records onto its own hard drive. While this holds a lot more video, and is MUCH smaller and lighter, I think the dvd one is better for organizing your videos. The hard drive one you have to hook up the to computer or a dvd burning device to get it on disk...which I have yet to do so theres just a hodgepodge of video on it right now  ... posted here to bump for ya too
