Rec female ob/gyn that delivers at stony brook or st charles
Hi Everyone! And congrats to you all! I am not actually pregnant, but plan on being in the next few years, and I need a new gynocologist, so I figured I better also find one that delivers closeby too. Anyone have a great female ob/gyn that delivers at either stony brook or st. charles? Thanks so much for your reccomendations and best wishes to you all!

I go to Dr. Davenport at Three Village Women's Health in E. Setauket. She only delivers at Stony Brook. There are other female and male doctors in the practice as well.

I go to Dr. Davenport at Three Village Women's Health in E. Setauket. She only delivers at Stony Brook. There are other female and male doctors in the practice as well.
I called there and they said she isn't accepting new patients-she was my first choice. Thank you though!!!

She isn't my regular doctor, who I would recommend but it's a male doctor. I did she her for my second pregnancy and she was great. Conway

As far as I know she does more St Charles, but I don't know how often she does Stonybrook. You can always call and find out

She only delivers at Stonybrook. She's great. She was recommended to me by another LIFer. Only downside is she is only on a call a few days a week for delivery so she may not deliver your baby.

I see Dr. Megan Lochner with StonyBrook OBGYN. I see her in Sayville but they also have another office in E. Setauket and Rocky Point.

They deliver at Stony Brook. I love Megan she has been wonderful. I had to find a new Dr. when I found out I was pregnant b/c my OB had moved and I couldn't be happier.

Suffolk OBGYN docs deliver at St. Charles. There are several female doctors on their staff. I really like Dr. Tufano, and Dr. Marshack delivered my daughter and was nice also. There are a few more there as well.

That's where I go. They have a few different ob's there that are all great and perinatlogists on staff, so you can try them all out and see which one your most comfortable with.

I used the Stony Brook Midwives. They do regular gyn care as well as OB. They were all amazing. I saw them at their office in East Setauket. They delivered 2 of my babies at Stony Brook.

They deliver at Stony Brook. I love Megan she has been wonderful. I had to find a new Dr. when I found out I was pregnant b/c my OB had moved and I couldn't be happier.
I love this practice as well..Dr. Julie Welischer delivered my dd, but all of the dr's there male and female are awesome.

I go to the same practice and they are wonderful. I  Dr. Richter also. All of the doctors have been great including the males also.

I joined this practice b/c of her too and she wasn't accepting new patients back then either but a friend recommended I join anyway because you can still see her once you are in. I will add that I absolutely love this practice. I have seen almost all the doctors now. There are only two things I hate about it. The wait is sometimes really long (even when I schedule early morning visits) and the fact that when you call you can't speak to anyone--you have to leave a message for them to call you back (unless it's an emergency). Other than that, it's been great.

I too have seen most of the doctors ( I think I have seen all but 1 doctor). I love them all!!!
The wait really varies and I think it depends on if the docs have deliveries or procedures which take longer than expected. The last time I went at 4:30 pm and we had a sono and we barely waited. I guess it just depends on the day. But emergencies happen too.
I don't mind the call thing because they usually call back within an hour or two. They have a lot of nurses returning calls. JMO
