Really Toys R Us?
DD will be 2 years old this wknd and Toys R Us sent her a coupon for birthday......for $3 off the order! I mean, they couldn't even send a 20 percent off coupon? I laughed when I saw it. We aren't buying anything bc we saved some gifts from Christmas but I just thought it was funny.

yep.. $3 We haven't used that in YEARS LOL Then again.. during xmas we got a candle (Flameless) marked down to $2 .. should have used it then! LOL

we get every year and never use it. well thats not true I used it on my order just b/c I happen to have it on me and not on any toy for her.
It's so ridiculous.

I guess they probably do that because the kids will be excited about getting a $3 gift card more so than a 20% discount. I'm the odd one out that think it's cute to let your little one pick something (very!) cheap out & buy it on their own. They have those cheap bins in the store!

My DD loves going there with the coupon and getting the birthday crown and balloon for her birthday! Make it a fun outing, and hey, it's $3 off you didn't have before!

i agree! they can pick and pay for something by themselves. i think its a nice gift.

They usually send a percentage off coupon after that one. At least they have for us in the past. Also, if you present the celebration card at the TRU in Times Square, you get 2 free ferris wheel ride tickets along with the birthday balloon they usually give.
