Really stupid mathmatical question...

OK, I was just thinking of this and it is stumping my already crowded brain Chat Icon ...

Stroller A is 30 lbs

Stroller B is 40 lbs

Is Stroller A 25% lighter than Stroller B - or - is Stroller B 33% heavier than Stroller A

or are BOTH statements correct?

(Maybe this baby is messing with my head a bit much Chat Icon Chat Icon )

Stroller A is 10 lbs. lighter than Stroller B -- 25% of 40 = 10 so yes, stroller A is 25% lighter

33% of Stroller B = 9.9 lbs or 10 lbs. approx. So techincally Stroller B is 33% heavier than Stroller A.

so yes your hypothesis is correct in an approx. sense. Both statments are true
