Really powerful hand held vacuum?
I'm looking for a great hand held vacuum. I want to be able to vacuum upholstered surfaces (mattresses, couches, car interiors, etc) without hauling out my regular upright.
Needs strong enough suction to easily pick up stubborn things like pet hair and cheerios. 
Any suggestions??

We have 4 kids and I keep a handheld Dyson on each floor. We use them a lot... especially goldfish spills in the car.

We just have the cheap DustBuster brand and its powerful. We don't have a pet, but it handles kids messes and food great. I can't justify spending a lot of $$ on a vacuum but maybe the story would be different if I had a pet.
