Really need bedtime/night/morning weaning advice?
DD is now weaned from all feedings except bedtime early morning/morning feedings. I have tried and tried and can not get her to take a bottle at bedtime. As soon as I start her bedtime routine, she is whining for the boob. She will not take the bottle at all. She is so attached to it at that particular time of day for some reason. The boys were so much easier to wean. I was just able to give them a bottle and that was it. She is so different. It really makes me feel bad. Then in the morning, it's the VERY first thing she wants. As soon as I pick her up she wants it. Even at 3:00am. How do I do this in the least painless way?

Re: Really need bedtime/night/morning weaning advice?
DH did her evening routine for about 5days straight to get her used to not nursing before bed. we gave her a sippy with a few ounces of milk about a hlaf hour before bed while she was playing. it worked well for us.
when weaning off the morning session (did once the nighttime was done) he got up with her and gave her the sippy. the has been the hardest, she still whines to nurse in the morning once i come out into the LR and even though she's already had her bottle. but i divert her attention elsewhere, and so far, we're 3days in with no bf'ing at all!
