Really annoyed with surgeon....
I had a consult over April break about surgery. He said we will put you on the schedule for May 4, 2006. He told me the hospital will call you with arrangements.
Well, they never did, so I called today and was told "There were too many people for that day, so I moved you to May 24. Sorry I didn't call you sooner."
I am seething. I am a teacher and May 24th doesn't really work for me. Why can't people do their jobs? Why do you ALWAYS have to follow up on things? Why can't anyone make my wanting to have a child any easier? Why do I feel like I am going over the deap end!
I faxed a letter of complaint to the doctor. I mean what if, a person who came after me was scheduled for the surgery and got my place. I am really annoyed right now!
This moves everything back another month!

I don't even know what to say but I would be LIVID. Perhaps you can cajole your Dr. to interceed on your behalf, explain about school and all...??

Is there anyway you can do just this ?? Ask your doctor to get you in 'earlier" ???? Maybe in this case you need to be pushy .....
It really saddens me how on top of things you have to be in this whole process
