HOW do people find out about them to be contestants on them?

my friend is an actress... or shall i say aspiring actress... anyway she is ALWAYS getting emails fom some talent agency to try out for reality shows.
eta: i had joined up with it to a while back (i ended up canceling it) but anyway, i got a few emaisl for it. They sent me one to be on NBC's "The REstuarant"

I think there are casting calls for them so wherever you would find out about auditions and stuff like that.

They were casting for The Bachelor at Mirage night club and asked me and my girlfriend to be on the show one night! We were like, sorry, we're married. Darn, I could've married Firestone or Bob Ginney.

But its funny, years ago when I was single I went to Club Med with my girlfriends and who was there, none other than the first Bachlor, god forgive me I dont know his name (I never watch the shows) BUT he was working the scene and I guess still had connections to the show, because he was RECRUITING people for the future seaons.. he was such an azzz!!!

craigslist.. under jobs constantly has casting calls for the latest reality shows... i saw the bachelor on there among other things...

look for casting calls in the newspaper, i've seen them in newsday, AMNY, etc...probably the village voice...

Most of the major networks (NBC, ABC, etc) have applications on their websites for reality tv shows. They ask you to fill it out, and mail it in with a video, and other requirements.
I almost tried out for the 1st survivor... this was pre-reality tv mania!... but I didn't submit my app because it was too early in my & Dh's relationship, and I wanted to see how it went... I missed my calling! Jk.
