Real Estate Appraiser
Just curious if anyone is or has looked into becoming a real estate appraiser in NY?
Wondering how much schooling/training is involved.

I am a real estate appraiser. I would recommend looking into classes at the appraisal institute. When you enter the field you need to find a company that will take you in as a trainee as you need to work under someone when you are getting started. You may find a company that will pay for your coursework as you are learning.
