Real bags etc

this is not meant to start drama but i have a legitimate question. I have a real LV bag, purchased it recently, and lately i've noticed so many people carrying fakes that it makes me wonder if I should have spent the money to buy a real one. I almost feel like i wasted my money.

Am i crazy? Should I return it or enjoy it?

If you bought it because you like the style and wanted a high quality bag, then keep it. If just like the style, and don't care about the quality then you may want to rethink it.

I would personally keep the real one because of the superior quality of it.

Like a previous poster said, fakes are wrong for so many reasons. Buying a fake anything supports drugs, terrorism (or so I've heard) and all sorts of crime.

I am dying to have an LV bag but cannot see myself ever affording it. I am sure I can afford a fake but will never do it.

I don't care what other people think - they may never know the difference. But I will always know its a fake. If people sad, "oooh - nice bag!" I could never say thank you without wanting to say, "It's a fake!"

I'd rather have a nice, cheaper bag that's a different designer - like Franco Sarto - and know it's real.

I feel the same way as you. I have some LV and Fendi bags and I truly hate seeing the fakes. I almost never wear my bags because of it. A co-worker actually had an argument with me because she bought fake bags and swore up and down mine was a fake.
I was so pizzed. Especially when she finally agreed it was real and told me I wasted my money...ugh!!!

but as another posted said.. If you liked the style than keep it and wear it.

I hate fake bags. I would never want people to know that it's fake and trying to pass it off as a real one. You def can tell the difference. I say keep the real and enjoy!

This is just me personally, but that's why i wouldn't buy a LV bag.

They are just so overblown now with fakes - everywhere you turn SOMEONE has the same logo.

If it were me, I'd return it and buy something less exposed...

But that's just me, and I'm ridiculous.

Oh no!! I knew what you meant I hope I didnt come across obnoxious I was jsut making a point about fake bags.. I would not wear a fake bag or shoes but I would wear fake jewelery.. And My wedding band was cz also!!LOL !! I am waiting for 5 years to get the anniversay one that I really want but cant afford.. Thats what I hate about treads you never really know how the person is saying something..

I've got several LV bags and never give any thoughts to fakes. You could definitely tell the difference between a real and a fake. For me, it doesn't take away from my real ones knowing that there are tons of fakes out there.

IF the bag really doesn't do anything for you - ie: you don't LOVE it, I think it's a lot of money to spend and I'd return it for something less expensive - But NEVER a replica of the real deal -

If you love the bag and it makes you happy to wear it, I would keep it -

But I personally, would not carry a fake bag - For ME, if I can't afford the real thing, I don't get it - at all.
I think it's lame to walk around w/ a fake - b/c you're basically trying to pass it off as the real thing ....KWIM?

I'd rather carry a fabulous leather bag by some noname designer than a 'fake' LV or Fendi or whatever......

And I honestly don't think any of the fake bags 'take away' from my real ones ......I know mine are real, and I can now spot a fake from a mile away. -

I have 2 LV bags. I was so excited when I bought them ,used to carry them ALL THE TIME. But I have stopped using them past few months. Everyone has them (fake or real) . Everywhere I go women are carrying the LV bags even very young girls . You can get a fake one anywhere and they look very,very real. It's very annoying. I am planning on giving one of my LV bags to my sister and keeping one for occasional use.

if you like it and can afford it, why not enjoy it? Everyone has their own splurges that make them happy so don't worry about what everyone else has. i personally don't care for $$$ bags but i splurge elsewhere. Enjoy!
