Ready to close (REFINANCE): what is your rate?
I locked in 4.75 (paying 3/4 point) in February with Chase. I spoke to the guy today and he said it is the same or actually a bit more (pay 1.5 points). They gave a union discount and other waivers, etc. But I just wanted to make sure it was good...Of course, my original broker, is now calling me back after 2 months, but I'll go crazy if I have to start all over!!

We're going through a friend of ours, who is a mortgage broker. We're not sure who the lender is yet. I do know that it's an FHA loan. We locked about 2 weeks ago.

Me too, which is why I think I can get 4.75 for less that 3/4 point.
