Read this in People - this is so sad
There is a blog written by a first time father, who lost his wife days after giving birth to their first child. She was still in the hospital recvering from her c section when she died. So he has a blog now about raising the baby by himself.

Yeah-I just read about him in this weeks issue of people-it's the saddest thing I have ever heard.

I've seen his blog...his daughter is just gorgeous and I cannot imagine the pain that he (and his family) feel every single day That beautiful girl looks just like her mommy

I just got completely overwhelmed by his blog and am so upset now...that is just so unbelievably unfair and tragic....my heart goes out to him & his daughter. What a tough road they are on...

I posted about Matt, Liz and Madeline last year here.
I check their blog everyday. I'm happy to see he was able to help others in the same situation and continue to do so under the foundation in Liz's honor. He has a heart of gold.
