reaction to chicken pox vaccine
Did any of your DC have a reaction to this vaccine? DD had this shot about 12 days ago, and now has a slight fever and some spots on her tummy and back. I called the ped and she said it is a normal reaction to this vaccine. Just wondering if anyone else had this happen? How long does it last? I am worried. The ped told me to watch it and call back in the morning.

DD didn't have a reaction, thankfully, but I've read on here that lots of kids have reactions.
So I'll bump this thread and hopefully others will give their experience. Hope your DD is feeling better soon

yep we had exactly as you described 14 days after the shot.

How long did a fever last? Is this going to be a few rough days ahead? I feel so bad for DD.
