Re-introducing myself......
In honor of my 1000th post, I'd like to reintroduce myself. My name is Kelly and I'm addicted to baked goods. I am very sarcastic and always try to find the humor in things. In fact, my DH and I were married on April Fools Day.
We had an interesting time getting pregnant. Over a year before we got married I got real sick. They kept thinking it was this and that. They diagnosed one thing (PCOS), but I pushed them more because I knew they were wrong. Long story short, they found a pituitary tumor and we were devastated. Thankfully, through rigorous chemo and crap we were given the green light to 'try' to have a baby. Our Christmas miracle came and we are due on 8/30!!!!!! 
I am very thankful to have you all here!!! Thanks for reading this!!

I woke up having contractions at 11.30...pray they stop. I am not ready yet!

Jessica here! due 8/28! GREAT story and congrats on your 1000 post and you amazing accomplishments!
BTW, i soooo enjoy reading your posts! Very entertaining!
Baked goods are my new best friend! The other night i baked a wonderful little chocolate chip loaf! YUMMY.. But i pretty much ate half of it myself!

Hi Kelly...
Fran here... I am due with a stubborn boy on May 8th.
Im glad you were able to concieve after all you have been thru with chemo and everything. My sis had Breast cancer and had a baby after she completed all her treatments too so we know what a miracle the baby is!!!
As for the baked goods, I would leave the cake to you - I will take the chips and salty stuff over cake any day.. More cake for you..
BTW I was due to be born on April 1st, but I hung in there til the 3rd. I can imagine how I would have been teased thru childhood if I was born on the first!!

Hi there--I am a closet preggo. I had an RE consult scheduled and I suddenly got a BFP right before I went to the appointment. I showed up pregnant at my first RE appointment.  It sounds awful to say this but I feel like I just dodged a bullet (the bullet being the emotional ups and downs of IF testing and treatment, and the financial burden). Most likely conceived on Valentine's Day. that works for me because I have always loved Valentine's Day.

even at 9 mts pregnant some people are still surprised when I tell them I am pregnant. I am convinced they were dropped on their heads repeatedly when they were babies though.

i'm alex. this is my first pregnancy and i am due on october 15th. right now the mere sight of most foods sends me praying to the porcelain god. but in non-pregnant life (or hopefully in the 2nd tri?  ) i LOOOOOVE anything sweet OR salty
it's great to hear your story. i am so happy that you've recovered and have a bundle of joy on the way!

This is me and DH's first child. I had a miscarraige in Sept of 06 and conceived right away in Oct. 06. This child is my gift from God.
I love to eat, party (cant do much of that anymore, dance, sing and just have fun.
