How do you feel about designer brand eyeglasses?

I really appreciate your replies!
I have eye doctor on Tuesday night and will then go eyeglass shopping within the week. I'll let you know what I end up with.
One more question - say for instance that a pair of Burberry eyeglasses look the best on me, but I don't have anything else Burberry nor would I say I have any opinion one way or the other on the designer at all... The Burberry name is on the arms but not flashy or anything. OK to get them?

my eyeglasses are coach and i love them, i didn't get them for the brand but because they fit my face

always get what looks best on your face, name brand means nothing if it doesn't suit you, and you def don't need to have anything else in that brand
