RE and Pregnancy Test
DH and I have been TTC. I was diagnosed with PCOS almost a year ago which has been monitored and controlled for the most part with my RE. I wasn't consistently ovulating so my RE decided to try Clomid for this month. I O'd and we BD. It's only been about a week but I am feeling all of the symptoms of pregnancy: sore boobs all week, major cramping, etc. Given I'm only 6DPO today is it too early to have symptoms of pregnancy? Also, I am going to the RE this week for the usual bloodwork and sono. Do you think they can tell if I'm pregnant when I go this week? This is all new to me since I got pregnant with my first child with no help. Thanks so much for any answers you can give me!

Re: RE and Pregnancy Test
imo it is way too early for symptoms
but u will here from girls who "knew" at 5 dpo they were pregnant
if u r going this week they r prob just doing a progesterone check and will not test u for pregnancy bc it is too early
beta usually done 14 dpo give or take
best of luck

I figured it was too early, and I know with DC #1 I definitely had no idea this early on. They are doing a progesterone test this week. I wasn't sure if they could tell anything at this early stage of the game. Would have been nice to know for Mother's Day and surprise everyone if we had a BFP! THanks for the info! I am still learning the ropes here. :)

Re: RE and Pregnancy Test
For the people who claim they felt symptoms that early, it was purely coincidence. There are so many MORE women who swear they have every symptom in the book and turn out very disappointed.
If you are 6dpo now, you may be able to test positive on Mothers Day if you are pregnant. I wouldn't test until the weekend though, and even then a negative result may be too soon. Regardless, you would JUST know the results from the hpt. That's pretty early to announce on Mothers Day before a beta/sono/etc. .but of course that's all to do with your comfort level. Don'r forget, Father's Day is just around the corner!

RE and Pregnancy Test
I definitely know it's early to test and I am not going to waste my time doing it now. Even if I found out next week it was a positive I don't think I could keep it from my family until Father's Day!! I'm terrible at keeping secrets like that! LOL The boob soreness is real and I never get that when I'm getting AF. But the cramping could be due to the Clomid. Hopefully it's not creating more cysts which I've heard of before. That would be frustrating to say the least.

Re: RE and Pregnancy Test
Clomid and HCG shot over here and my boobs are killing me this month too! I think (personally) it is too soon for you to test/know. Every month is different and symptoms are not always symptoms of pregnancy. They won't even test you except for progesterone this week. I am scared to test and my beta is supposed to be Friday! The HCG shot can screw with you from what I have heard.
Good luck to you!!! I hope your feeling is the right one!!

If your 7dpo today, then you should be 12dpo in Sunday, and many women have had BFP at 12dpo. Just throwing it out there

RE and Pregnancy Test
I seriously hope you're right! I wasn't so nervous when we were trying for DC #1. Probably since I didn't have any fertility issues either. This time around I am trying to keep calm, but it's sitting in the back of my head that it may not work. :(

Re: RE and Pregnancy Test
I don't think a sono would show anything this early also. I got my BFP days before anything was noted on a sono.
Unfortunately all you can do is wait.
Good Luck.. I hope it works out for you. I got tender BB a few times in the 2ww.
