Raymour & Flanigan Harassing for Delivery...
Has anyone ordered through them & then been harassed to take delivery sooner than you wanted?
We were in yesterday & set up delivery for next week. I got a call today confirming delivery for THIS Wednesday & asking us to call back to set up a time. I called back saying we want NEXT week & they kept putting me on hold & told me I needed to call the store mgr & then their computer system went down & then he came back & asked what it would take to take it this week (he offered free delivery but we're also getting a BR set & got both for 1 delivery price) so we'd end up paying for that anyway.
I just feel harassed....has this happened to anyone else?
We're not ready for it yet b/c DH & my dad are doing crown moldings in the room & have to paint & build up a wall on one side.

Yes..I believe that happened to us...Also inspect every little thing! We realized a shelf in our curio was chipped later on

We ordered from them in December and didn't take delivery until April. They called about 2x and asked about a date and I informed them of the situation. They were ok with it.
Did you order from Farmingdale? If you did, ask to speak to Dawn (I can't remember her last name), she is a manager there and very helpful.

We ordered our dining set from them (the store on Glen Cove Rd), and had no problems with scheduling delivery date or the merchandise itself.
Sorry you're having a hard time.
