Not true. As the baby gets bigger the heart rate slows down.

My girls were all over 160 all the time. With my boys they were above 160 at about 8 weeks, then stayed in the 150's after that.

heart beat at 8 weeks was 158, she then dropped down to 150 and at 20 weeks she was about 140
